Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
I like the Chevrolet dealership tag on the front.
That does look sweet man. I don't see too many of the SRT8's around here. Several TBSS's, but I would like to drive the Jeep to see how it compares. Only advice I can give is to start saving for a set of tires now! |

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
Nice man, need some pics of the engine. I still think your c10 will beat that mopar any day. My truck beats the stock SRT8 chargers and challengers all day! Only if I could get the all wheel drive traction off the line.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
Those SRT8's are sweet. I owned an AWD GMC '01 Sierra C3 (1st Denali truck) for nearly 5yrs and loved the grip the AWD gave that big 5200lb ext. cab truck. Front wheels would help pull it thru a corner and you can go just about as fast in the rain as you can dry....and ...4 wheel drifts are awesome!
I really like the mid-size performance SUV idea (2WD and AWD)..... but had to stick with a Chevy...

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
slip a front axle under it and add a NVG-149 from a Silverado SS or early Sierra or Yukon Denali. Its one of the best AWD boxes available and will hande big power...plus its full time and non-electronic.
