With a larger house you can have a larger shop, at least that's the way it is here. Good thinking!

What you guys don't know is, the shop was the first thing to get bigger. I used to have a 2 car carport at this house. We built the big shop with the missionary apartment above first, then remodeled 3 bathrooms, added on some office space 6 months ago, and now we are redoing the master and adding a master closet. I need to get the truck weather proof by January 15th when the last of some missionaries move out. We will be moving up there to start the final main phase redo of the house and I need the garage space to move all of our furniture into.

Oh my, what a pain. I have just spent 2 hours installing door glass for 1 door. Not an easy task, and I am so looking forward to the rest of them.

Two things - being very careful of my paint, and messing up the order in which items go in the door/ having to start over. At one point I was considering whether beating the glass in with a sledgehammer would work or not.

Pretty sure it's in the FAQ section. I think I have it in my C-10 thread also.

And here you thought having three doors would make things easier. jk. I know the feeling. Some thing are fun, some aren't. But your truck is amazing! It will all be worth it in the end.

The sledgehammer method will get the glass into the door.........the bottom of the door.

It took me quite a while on the first door I ever re-assembled after paint. The second door was much faster....I'm sure your third door will be a snap

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

I haven't even tried to mount the hood yet, but to keep everyone happy, I am going junkyarding tomorrow to find a shorter reservoir. I'm taking the old one with me as a reference.

Here is the rubberized mount I made to hold the ECM.

Yes, that is the backup plan if necessary. You can buy plastic welding kits with different types of plastic "welding rods". Basically you get a soldering iron and melt it back together/ add some filler.
