Re: A '54 named Busty
OMG, that is hilarious, since about 30 seconds after I took the first pic I accidentally knocked them off the cab floor and onto the concrete driveway, BMW owners would have fainted

Re: A '54 named Busty
it would be cool if you could find a farmer with some old machinery that he would let you pose your truck with. pose it parked next to the machinery with the gate open and an open toolbox on the bed floor, like you are there to fix something. maybe an old hound trotting around in the pic. like a nostalgia pic from the period.
good to see you are enjoying the ride. how does it handle and feel for comfort? |

Re: A '54 named Busty
I like pic 1, it's like looking out my back window. Except for the truck.

surprisingly amazing, but it is a heavy old truck sitting on a Camaro sport car "suspension" what I'm saying is that you are not floating like in a Cadillac, but she don't rattle your brain either nor pound yer kidneys like a hard tail (I'm looking at you my '83 Shovelhead) the steering is tight and very responsive, and I haven't even rebuilt it yet, [probably why, cause I don't wanna mess it up] the alignment is good too, she drives straight when I do the "Look Mum No Hands" test |

Re: A '54 named Busty
We were parked out by the tracks
We're sitting in the back And we just started getting busy When she whispered, "what was that" The wind, I think 'cause no one else knows where we are And that was when she started screamin', "That's my dad outside the car" |

the belly of the beast
and yes I paid extra for the rust like coating on them exhaust manifolds (but looks like I could only afford to have it done on one side?!) |

Re: A '54 named Busty
All the work, the dirt, the sweat, the blood, the time, the highs and lows of a rebuild, and of course the money, and you now have a fully functional operating truck.
Congratulations on a very cool looking rig, and it is great to see you out and enjoying it.. well deserved (and thanks for sharing your journey with us, and making it entertaining)
