Thanks Ryan. I was hoping to see the owner. It pretty rare to see our vintage trucks around here.

Thanks Scott, yeah I grin every time I go out to the shop and look at it. It's pretty hard not to do look backs when I park it anywhere
I have some plans to make it a little cooler in the future. Just going to have to save up my pennys to get it done.

Well, I didn't make my goal of Oct. ground breaking. I am still working out the logistics. Not 100% sure of where I'm building it either. I have a few options but the place I really want it, the land is really sloped. So I will need to bring in fill. It will happen, but like everything I do not the quickest.....

Hey Joey, Not a whole lot on my truck and I haven't started on the new building yet. Lot of setbacks on that project.

I installed new upper and lower radiator hoses last week. I didn't get any pics. For the record both hoses were new when I originally installed them but, I nicked the upper hose when I was test running the engine and the I had to build an adapter for the lower hose to go from the LS size to the big block radiator on the lower hose.
I am going to be installing the headliner this month. Other than the occasional fun drive I haven't got to drive it as much as I would like. Crappy weather here every time I make plans for a good long drive.....

Here is a pic of my truck at work last Wednesday:

This rear bumper is what my good friend Crash_OK and I have been working on the last month or so:

Check out his build thread: HERE

This will get some work in the shop soon, My nephew Member (Harley guy) new project. We will be installing a full Porterbuilt suspension.:

Re: 1969 Short Wide

Very cool.
Do you already have a headliner? I have a brand new one and have decided not to run one. Also have new trim to go around it.
Love your truck and had to look around to find your thread so I just wanted to bump it to the top. =)

Thanks for the bump TTT. I sent you a PM about the headliner. If it's black and in near mint condition I'd be interested in it for sure.

Mike your truck looks really great... I've still got a lot of catching up to do. Bummer about the trucker tread!

PROPS TO YOU SIR! Also you'll love the Talimena Byway. Went and rode it on my Harley last Fall and we decided to make it an annual trip. It's awesome.

Thanks Keith. It's all good, you'd have to crawl underneath to see the damage.

Thanks Eddie. I sent you some stuff about the LS swap.

Thanks for checking in Whitey. It has been a long journey, but well worth it.
I actually made it out to the Talimena drive a few times this winter. Not in this truck but I will take it out there drive this fall.

Re: 1969 Short Wide

Sorry to see what happened to your truck, that sucks. i followed your build and when I saw the pictures it felt like my truck got dented. Thanks for sharing all your hard work with us, you did a great job on it and provided a lot of info and motivation!

Re: 1969 Short Wide

Thanks to board member joey8383 I now have a new headliner. (Thanks again Joey for the sweet hook up!). I forgot to take a picture but, I completely masked the interior off with plastic sheeting to prevent spray adhesive over spray. Thanks Mark (Crash_OK) for helping stab it. It really finishes the interior in my opinion.

Sorry for the crappy cell pics.
