Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne K20 4x4
Older restoration long bed (8’) ¾ ton, 4 wheel drive. Engine is a 383 Stroker with Edelbrock ProFlow 3 electronic fuel injection, 2.02 heads, headers, and dual exhaust. Vintage Air A/C. I always recharge it at the start of the summer, and it blows cold. Fresh battery. Turbo 350 transmission with 2-speed Gear Vender overdrive with controls on dash and floor. The truck runs 70 mph like nothin’. 2021 Jeep Gladiator seats, manual adjust, both with shoulder straps and lap belt combo. Aftermarket Blazer locking center console with carpet insert. Excellent carpet with underlayment for noise. No stereo and the dash has not been molested for one. There are some cheap speakers in the kick panels that I would replace when I added a stereo. Re-arched stock springs with new Bilstien shocks on all four corners. Rides excellent. 35” BFG Radial TA’s. Lots of tread left. Some checking from age, but they work good. Hummer2 eight lug alloy wheels. Full floater Corp 14 bolt rear axle with limited slip (Posi-traction), Dana 44 front with Warn hubs. California truck with no rust to speak of. Original option tag still inside the glove box door. Current reg. New windshield.

Things it needs to be perfect:
1. Paint, not mandatory, but you won’t win any shows with this paintjob.
2. Rear bumper, or straighten this one.
3. Valve job. #6 tests a little lower than the others, but it still runs like a striped ape.
4. A couple of boards in the bed would look better not warped.
5. Tires eventually. These will last, but they aren’t perfect.
6. Stereo and decent speakers.
7. Trailer hitch.
8. Starter needs to be shimmed. It grinds a bit at start.
9. Replace the cheesy window tint on the back window.
10. Carpet or fabric fuel tank cover behind seats, or move tank under the bed.

Price is $28,500, OBO. Local pick-up after clearing of funds.
Trades considered: Polaris RZR Turbo S, Can Am Maverick, 2 seaters, Complete Flatbottom or day cruiser V-Drive, Pre-1973 Camaro, Nova, Chevelle, El Camino, complete Drag Car, pre-1968 Corvette, Chevy II, stuff like that. No junk, no projects, and NO FORDS.

Text works best. Six 6 one five 49 eight 3 83. If you can’t decipher the number, don’t bother responding.
No I don’t need help selling it. If the ad’s up, it’s still available. https://bakersfield.craigslist.org/cto/7558209364.html

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

Rare 1972 Chevrolet (3-door) Suburban, 3/4 ton, 2-wheel drive, just rebuilt only 100 miles ago; all rebuilt "402" big-block with upgrades, rebuilt H.D. turbo-400, 3:73 posi rearend, factory 8-lug power disc-brakes, p/steering. This is factory orange and white, body work done except t/gate, very solid Cal. truck, all new stuff; windshield, padded dash, seats (rear matching included), gas tank, brakes, power steering pump and box, tilt column, billet wheels, Goodyear tires, grill assembly, steel cowl-induction hood, custom dual-exhaust, aluminum radiator, heater core, all hoses and more. Engine bay is nicely detailed, lots of powdercoating, runs, drives, rides like new, clear title in my name, also includes nice front door panels, and has hitch for towing. $25,000. I might take a part-trade for 1949-66 Suburban project, or a classic station wagon!!? Landline only (seven75)six7seven-two4three8, sorry I have NO cell, text or email. https://reno.craigslist.org/cto/7558138681.html

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

1972 Chevy C20 3/4 ton pickup truck. 350cid (5.7L) engine with automatic transmission. Previous owner was in the middle of changing to HEI ignition when I purchased it. Since the wiring needs a bit of attention anyway, I put an internally regulated alternator on it. It will start and sounds like it will be a solid engine once it gets the tune up attention it needs... I would imagine rebuilding the carburetor would do wonders for it, also.
It'll soon need new floor pans, as each side has a small hole forming in the typical place; Towards the bottom/front of the door. Pretty straight and has a nice stance/profile sitting on 20" rims/tires...

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

67 GMC C25/20 Small rear window cab. Bought from original owners son. It has a replacement 350 GM engine, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, working Vintage fridgiking air conditioning. Heater works. Interior is in good condition the seat is original. It runs on the original behind the seat gas tank, also has 2 travel tanks but I’ve never used them. Looks to have had a restoration done once years ago. Has new manifold, edelbrock 4 bbl Carb and air cleaner. Runs good. Rear end was replaced recently with one that has 3.54 gears. Had it refreshed with new bearings and seals. I want $15k obo. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/7559115897.html

TH400 Automatic (rebuilt)
8 lug running gear
Power steering
Power brakes
Leaf spring rear suspension
Factory Air cab, does not have the under hood stuff for AC

This is a nice old truck that is ready to go anywhere

All the sheet metal is 1969. The cab corners are original and solid
The Passenger fender was rotted under the battery and replaced with an 1969 fender

Rebuilt engine
Original block was cracked
Aims Machine sourced a new block of the same generation

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

1972 C10 for sale. I picked this truck up outside of Reno, Nevada 5 years ago where it spent 45 of its 50 years. The numbers indicate it was assembled in Fremont,ca at the GM plant. Rebuilt front end a few years ago including drop spindles, new disc brakes, ball joints, tie rod ends, springs and shocks. More recently put in a Jasper crate 350/ TH350 transmission with upgraded cam. Edelbrock top end, Hedman headers, power master starter. New gas tank and fuel lines. Drives and sounds great.
