Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Did you mount the Tune Trapper antenna yet? I'm curious where you put it. I'm wanting to get one too, but I'm not sure where I should mount it.

You would probably be a lot further along if someone would not have interrupted the progress today

I was nice to meet you today Chuck and the truck looks very nice in person. Nice place you have there too.

Look forward to the next time I can visit.

Take care,
Tom

Right now I mounted it behind the passenger seat. I do wish I had ordered the end fed wire unit but it works. I haven't had my truck out and about but it does pick up here in my basement pretty good.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I got the seats in tonight. Loretta helped me get the nuts tight on the ones close to the console. I think next time I do buckets I'll weld the nuts to the floor just to make it easier installing. I tend to take them in and out a few times to check things. But anyway they're in and look good and are comfortable.

The interior looks great.
I don't think most people know how much money it takes, to make an interior that nice with bucket seats.
Love it.

I am going to have $1,200 into my buckets and consul when they are done. Then I get to buy the rest of it.

No it is not cheap to do but man it looks great when its done. Well worth the investment in my opinion.

Thanks. Luckily I was able to use my original foam. That saved a lot. And I did it myself too.

The 88 model truck seats feel good too or ones from that body style.

Been messing with the stereo. I like the bluetooth connection so I need no cord to play my tunes. Awesome.

Chuck,
I saw a set of buckets and cup holder console (from the same year truck that seat came out of) in a 68. I liked the look and fit. Have you seen them in one of our trucks before?
Mike
