Re: 1969 Short Wide

Long work day yesterday in the heat. Got the new power steering lines installed and the inner fenders, then the K & N filter. Next project will be the fuel filler.
I can't wait to drive this puppy to the car wash and wash 5 years of the dust off the engine.....

Thanks Jason. I wish I could help you with your fuel problem. I'm lost when it comes to the old school engines any more. Heck I'm lost period on diagnostics....

Thanks Brian. It needs a lot of little detail work under the hood but, I'm trying to get it safe and mechanically sound before I work out all that little stuff.
Hope to be driving her soon.

Great job Mike, love the look of the truck and good luck on your shop, must be nice to have a bad A truck and getting a shop as well, wow. Don't pull a Rex(rocketking) and sell this thing, I hope you enjoy it for many years to come.

Thanks. You don't have to worry about me selling this ole truck any time soon. It would take a stupid offer for me to sell. I know that's not going to happen anytime soon.
One thing about mine, I have done all the work with the exception of some wiring help from my son.

Thanks Eddie. I have taken a few pics with shirt but they were both blurry. I will get one to add to your thread.
It's pretty cool getting to drive after all this time.

Re: 1969 Short Wide

Kewl video. I know the feeling of finally getting to drive it. My next step is an LS conversion so I can drive it to work daily, I drive 130 miles round trip and the LS would definitely make it reliable and better mileage.

My favorite part is when you drive by and hammer the throttle and it roars!
