Thanks for the compliment. The shop was a friend of a friends, not mine. I wish.

Here is a quick run down on what I have done as of now:

quicky paint job 4 years ago
lowered 3" front and 4" back (for now, going to go 5") coils
New track bar (cpp)
New rear shock relocation (cpp)
New tranny crossmember (ece)
New carpet
2001 Silverado power bench seat (all works)
P/S , P/B (disc in front, drum in back for now)
SBC 350 with a decent cam backed by a turbo 350
edlebrock intake and carb (all new)
Hedman shorty headers
2 1/2" pipe into Magnaflow mufflers
3.73 gears (open diff)

and just a lot of nick nacks for now. I am planning of swapping in an ls2 in the spring with a 4l80e or the new 6l80e. Just depends on what I can get for pricing.

Here is a couple of pics of the engine bay. Not the best, but ok for now.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

im not sure if these count or not but they are cool. they are c50 chevies we used on the farm. They are pretty much bigger versions of the c10's with the same dashes and everything. ones a 67 and ones a 70. they had 350's with a 4 speed with a 2 speed axle. the harvesting pic is labeled 1988. i think they are cool and i hope u do to!

Very Cool. I would love to have that flatbed that is attached to the JD tractor....and the tractor of course.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

New to the site but not new to wanting to look good and go fast while doing it ! Just picked up my 68 yesterday and I really cant complain being it was free! Cab and bed will be coming off so I can start on the frame/brakes/suspension. Bed will be replaced with straight bed. Still not sure on paint color yet but, was leaning towards cyber gray with black interior. Engine and trans plans are, built 370 or 408 out of a 6.0 LS motor with T76 turbo hooked to a built 4L80E. I still have a lot of reading and research to do to make sure everything comes together smoothly.

I like what's in front of the truck better than what's behind it.

Hoefully he puts up a bigger one. Then we will both be happy.
The background was just a trick you know, I really wanted to see the truck a little bigger.

nice looking start Hammer68 good luck with the project and welcome to the board. You need to start a build thread before you tear in to the truck.
