Sure a considerable difference on old blue in the engine bay, nice the square headlight are gone, she was stylin in her day before you got it Sure a lot of change for the good.

Thanks, I like the 200 series. Those wouldn't look right on my 8-lug rig, though.

But no kiddin....that's one of the prettiest I've seen.
And, by the way.....you can quit bein' coy about this deal.....When a guy shows pics of a rig like that one to his buddies, it aint called showing off.

They don't make the 200's in 8 lug so it's moot anyways.

You may see it as humble but I see it as the way a TRUCK should look! To each his own, but I really love the original look!

Hey neighbor, lookin good ! I'm with Longhorn on the looks, I like 'em as they were designed I love the vintage plates too. I wanted to get some for my GMC but with the restrictions of how we can use the truck after regestering as vintage keeps me from doing it. I wish they would change that
Nothin wrong with those hot rods on the other pages, but can they really use them any more ? lol

I thought about just going ahead with it but I figured the police will notice the vintage plates about the time I'm hauling a load of fire wood or a trailer

I think here in SC it allows for "occasional" "other use".

This is from the mv440v paperwork from the DMV here in NY...
Quote:
Owner's Certification Statement
I certify that the vehicle I want to register with vintage plates is owned and operated as an
exhibition piece or collector's item, and is used for participation in club activities, exhibits, tours,
parades, occasional transportation and similar uses, but is not used for general daily
transportation, in accordance with Section 401-7(G) of the Vehicle and Traffic Law. I also certify
that the accompanying photograph is of the original, readable, un-repainted plate(s), not of a
manufactured facsimile. The year of the plate(s) corresponds to the model year of the vehicle.
They tend to be pretty strict about uses, I doubt they'd let my uses fly lol.
