Good progress Rick! Thanks for the info on the cig lighter. This one must be vintage aftermarket or from something else. It's stainless so should polish up nicely. I'll try and get a pic of it on my thread.
Also my vote is for "phase II of Rick's 67" or "Slick Rick's 67 part II" That way people will know hey that's Ricks new thread!

well my dad was helping me today, he looked up stuff and researched it and finally got my wiring figured out so it turns off with the key!

DAMN! lol my dad said that i have air in one of the hoses which causes it to stop working for right turns...... so we will drive it and get the air out and if it still doesnt work then ill get a new one when i tear the 67 back apart for the new cab!

well all the lights and all the accessories work the wipers, lights ,ignition, cigarettle lighter, radio, speaker, spotlight allof it is working and the turn signals head lights taillights park lights and hazard lights all work! so anybody want to lend me a 61 inch driveline???? LOL

yeah he doesnt have any the last one he had he sold to a guy who twisted it by not tightening the u joint clamps all the way on the axle! so it was wasted!

hes just fine. hes pissed that after 51 years of age and after 10 years of owning the truck he crashed...... the trucks front bumoer is done for.... so are the bumper brackets (the outer ones) so i will be in need of brackets now, good thin is i have a bumper he can use and i put it on for him the truck is actually a little better today then it was before the crash lol.

i was joking.... i would rather have both of them together lol thats why the cab from this truck the heater cab will turn into a 67 GMC, i would do a 68, but my cab has a small window which looks weird with markers so its going to be a 67 as well.
