The rear end is chopped of about 4" to 6". The wheelbase are the same.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

Hello everybody, just a couple of pics of my 66 C20. The first is me in my old 1 car garage where i did most of the work. have since moved and have a 2 car garage, room to spread out a little! The second pic is just after i got the cab back on the frame. I painted the frame using KBS Coatings Gloss black frame kit, great product. The rockers, cowl area and air box, and some of the floor boards had some rot that i've fixed, just have to fix a few holes along the drip rail and the cab will be ready for paint. To do the frame and the underside of the cab, i had it jacked up with camper jacks and suspended from the rafters. Was able to do the rockers real easy because they were belly high, so i could sit on my stool and repair them! The third shows the Watts linkage i made to replace the panhard bar. The forth shows the motor that will be going in, a 455 pontiac bored to 463 with Eagle crank and rods, billet 4-bolt mains, Kauffman D-port aluminium heads and i'll be running a Megasquirt injection.

Not yet, too many pictures to go through, been working on it for 3 years now. I'll have to start 1 though.

Satin black for now, then charcoal metallic later.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

This is my '62 I got after my great grandfather had it for years, passed away last year. I finally got it running, gas tank de-rusted, new fuel lines, rebuilt the carb, new master and slave cylinder going in soon.

Hopefully be able to test drive it around the yard soon!!

Nothing cooler than a truck with family history. Looking forward to updates as the project progresses.

Your personal pictures have to be downloaded to Photo Bucket, or what I use is www.SmugMug.com But I think Photo Bucket is free. Then copy the pictures url (http://www) and so on. Then paste that in that little box. Good luck.

I forgot to say click on property's, then copy the location which is the http you need to copy. This is it.
http://i796.photobucket.com/albums/y...nder82/019.jpg

Then you click on the small picture icon above with the mountain in it. Paste there.
