Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

This is a guy I met years ago with a 66 pick up with a 454. No pictures of that yet but this is his present find. He put a set of bags on it. He only speaks French therefore I'm posting for him.

Don't know, the burb came from Wa. state. Paid $3400 for it then started rodding it. Found it while out buying a Ski-Doo. ( How Canadian is that )

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

I just joined but have gained a lot of insight and knowledge from other members posts. I am from Rio Rancho, NM. I am doing a frame off resto on a 1966 C10 long fleetside. 1/3 way through the project and only have a few progress photos at this time.

The guy with the 64 bagger spent so much money on that he couldn't afford a gas cap.

The gas tank is under the bed with a gas cap flush with the bed floor.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

It's cool how the truck and camper match. Iv'e been looking for an old boat to pull with mine. Then I'll decide the actual color it will be. Dig that dark green on sirs LWB, or maybe even a Navy Blue Metallic, ah who cares, just something shiny eventually!

I think he said that its 1980 F#rd Calipso green. I think its a very close variation to GM's seafoam green. I love it.

I like this one Jon....it has that smooooth look to it. You don't see many wrap around windshield trucks chopped either. Looks like they laid the windshield back on this one.

yeah it will look real nice when done... did you notice the subtle 2.5 inch section along the bottom too?
it in a way lowers the wheelwells, which makes it look even lower.
...and yeah that is a nice front end..
