Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
i like the orange truck realy ike the paint on that one it looks a lot like the prowler orange i seen on someones 57 truck
my paintjob prolly will be straight orange enamel paint but if i had enough cash i would go for that prowler colour

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Here's some pics of pics of my last square Chevy. Finished the truck around 1995 and had to sell to get a daily driver that was better on gas, also had a race car and the truck left. My 1st truck was an 80 fleet side swb. Truck had the following mods, shaved handles, bedstake holes, emblems, reversed tailgate handle, louvered tailgate (where can I get another one of those panels?) 15x10's with 295/50's all around. 327 double hump no bolt hole heads, 350 turbo 2000 stall, 12 bolt 3:73 posi rear. Really loved that truck.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Thanks for the compliments guys. i really appreciate it. its just your standard (budget drop) 3 inch spindles in the front and wacked off some coils. the back is flipped and lowering blocks. wheels r 20x7 coys up front with 225-35s and backs r 20x10s with 275-40s. its funny ,this truck has been painted for about 7 years now and ive gotten more compliments on the paint in the last week than all the years before just because of the wheels.lol. im really happy with how it looks and rides at this point. tires are a bit small for me in front but im doing some research for a taller tire. ive been told the 225-35 is the ONLY tire that will fit that rim. i refuse to believe it .

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
i found out early in my years of owning a driverslicence and cars that wheels make a car look better more then anything else
paint a truck matt black and its just a matt black truck put some coys under there and the truck is a potentional hot rod realy like the flames you done on that truck btw there verry whell proportioned ....... i seen a couple where they dont get the licks right they look to fat or lobsided for some reason , the ones on youre truck look great

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
MAN. it sure is nice to chat with NICE people. i appreciate all the comments. My local forum here in town is full of "world class truck builders" that would never tell you that youve done a good job on something or give u props for a nice vehicle. I just think i might have found a forum that has down to earth people. i have a feeling that ill b spending alot of time chatting with u all. thanks!!!
