Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Well as many of you know that have followed along with my build, plans seem to change frequently for me i thought i had my final plans nailed down but....LIFE happens and my intentional plans have changed once again, my plan to have Kenny Davis finish this up for me looks to be falling apart rather fast , on my part not his, with recent Dr, Dentist, and misc other LARGE life bills it has diminished the fund that i was hoping to use to finish this up ! so.....what do i do ? contemplated trying to rent a space at a local body shop and finish it myself, i have painted probably 15 cars in my life but that has been 12 years ago, and time is something i have very little of, so i am back to the drawing board trying to figure out a way to get the paint job finished up without spending $10 k ??? well i guess we will see what happens next, stay tuned if you are still interested in seeing where my soap oprea of a build ends up headed next !!

That's a bummer, Mike! Hopefully fortune falls your way again soon and you get that dream paint job. Good luck!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
i guess if you want to save cash the do it youreself is the best option , maibe you need to take a holliday and do it then , i would suggest painting it in a professional booth as those give the least chance of overspray and dustparticles , read up on the newer thechniques paints nowadays are waterbased and you spray wet on wet (paint over still wet paint) and the paintguns have changed too
maibe start on a junker or paint someone elses car for free to test if youre paintskills are still there

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
today starts another gigantic set of Dr bills, but that doesnt matter as long as my little guy comes out ok, my son went to Arkansas Childrens Hospital and after a CT scan they diagnosed him with Severs disease and Coalation, put him in a cast for 4 week, then walking boot after that they will preform a spine scan to make sure that this problem has nothing to do with his Hysticytosis problem !

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
thank you , it isnt life threatening or anything like that, it is an activity related pain dealing with the Achilles Tendon, by the end of a soccer game or basketball game he cant hardly walk it hurts so bad, and he loves soccer so it is just a major let down for him hopefully the cast and walking boot and then inserts for heal padding in his shoes will correct the problem and then in most cases they grow the rest of the way out of it
