Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

Since you're working, Redline:

Loaded up two old laser printers, a parts bicycle and about ten big cardboard boxes (all broken down).
Fit 'em all under the tonneau. Headed to recycle the first of the week.

Needed to make some room in the garage and the truck bed for RAT's new "spare tire".

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

Bought truck last Friday. Had bad oil leak. Discovered valve cover bolts weren't even finger tight. Bought the rubber gaskets with the metal frame and new bolts, then torqued to 60 inch pounds as called for in gasket instructions. Leak gone!

Since you asked, I have a suggestion...Or, really, a comment.

Those wheels that are on there now are killer.

EKguy love the rims/caps.You can put some serious rubber on those! I took my truck to the salvage yard today to unload scrap. I did keep the load receipt 4,180 lbs empty ( gas tank on 1/4) with me in it. I'm a buck seventy ,so 2 tons of fun!!!
