more progress tonight... i finished the metal work on the bed

i ended up welding that big gap on the bed wall and bed rail. you can see the gap in the pics and then of it gone. turned out really sweet

the infamous Rich 'the painter' made it by the house last night to check things out and get a game plan going. He's going to pick up the doors, hinges, and A/C box monday after work and get them knocked out

He's going to take the bed next to undercoat and paint and while he's got the bed i'm going to get the exhaust done

i need to get into DMV and get everything all in order so i can drive her somewhat legal to the exhaust shop also

Glad I stopped to check it out. I miss watching this build. I gotta remember to drop in more often. The exhaust shop going to run pipe without the bed on it? I would wait till it is on there and the truck is sitting at ride height to run exhaust. Then you are sure about clearances.

good point bro... so i've been thinking 'maybe' just get it done this weekend which is thursday and friday. She's pretty much at ride height in the rear now and the front has to come down again but other than that i think it should be fine... maybe just have them do it in sections with flanges too. if i can figure a way top get'er over there im going to do it

i still need to run wire loom thru the fender and across the core support and tape them all up... tomorrow after Rich gets the doors hopefully

btw you cant see the wire loom if your just standing there... it just so happens that the flash and angle of the camera caught it ALL!

I need to get a pic of mine, how I hid the wiring...very similar to yours. Looks real good, will look better with the box...if you ever get arounf to buying it.
