Re: My Facetruck thread.
I don't let the snow bother me. It always goes away. Well digger's shovel, ey? I'll have to remember that when being proper is in order . Now I will say I don't like being cold! I'm sayin', got to have the right clothes on or everything sucks!

Tim, somehow "colder than a witches broom" didn't have a ring to it.

Sonoma is a very special place in California... in America.
I took some shots of the snow from in my new old garage and around

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Us big tough grown men have been brought up to stand tall and tough it out. But when it comes to snow all that changes. Grown men whine about it while the little ones can't get enough of it

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Same here. I remember my mom would put a towel on the cast iron radiator and I'd sit on it to thaw my butt out with fingers and toes stinging and burning terribly. Then I'd go do it again. Sledding on and on running back up the hill with the feet all numb

Re: My Facetruck thread.
What a great idea to ride a horse to school ..I do wonder where and how they kept them while in school ..and another thought beings my dad had work horses ,,,the brown horse on the far left in the photo has some legs that could pull logs... nice photo ,,makes a person feel good knowing there are places you can still do this like the old days..

Re: My Facetruck thread.
I haven't talked to her so I don't know what they did with the horses. I'm guessing the Agri Dept had a place.
I talked to one of the other grandpa's this morning, and they rode quite a bit after school. She just started driving last month. Her daddy asked her how she was going to get her horse down to the place they rode from. She said "I'm going to hook the horse trailer behind my truck and haul it.". He followed her all the way down just to make sure she made it.

davischevy, that's a really neat truck. Looks straight and well cared for. Is it a dark bronze color? What are your plans for it?
