Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Looks like maybe home made. Definitely not stock though. You can still see what's left of the factory leaf brackets on the frame.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
I guess I should update my new race truck/car.We are now building a 75 Chevelle chassis and putting 68 Chevy C10 shell on her.We will be racing at Sunvalley speedway in Vernon BC and Agassiz speedway in the Fraser Valley in BC.Our old race truck was all truck but to keep up with lighter cars we had to change chassis so here it is
Some older pic's of the build

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
My project is only just beginning
So far, all I've done is sand / repaint the wheels white (like they should be), replace shocks, adjust steering/bearings in the front end, new blinker switch, window felts, driver's weatherstripping, new radiator and convert to serpentine. Many more things planned... Last pic is a crummy cell one, only one I have since the wheels were painted

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Here is an old pic from around 1990 of my Dad's 1970 C/10, my 1971 Elcamino SS, and my brothers 1967 (with a 1968 bed) C/10 stepside. The stepside was mine about 2 months before this pic was taken. He had been askin' to buy it from me for years... I finally sold it to him.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Finally, a few pictures of mine. 1970 C10 Custom, 350, stock. My dad had the body work done a couple of years before I got it. The interior needs some work, and the engine is due for a complete detailing along with a few minor upgrades.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
"beauty is only skin deep" - It runs OK, it was my DD last summer but I'm hoping to get some of the engine work done on it this spring before I take it out on the road.
