I got my 59 GMC out tonight and cleaned up. My nephew is getting married tomorrow and wants to take some pics with it.

Thanks a LOT! I hadn't come back to this thread til now and just saw this or I'd have thanked you before. I'll give him a call and get a "SWAG" - Scientific Wild Ass Guess - what the price will likely be?

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
JJ, may I ask? Why did you bolt the straight portions of the frame to the front/rear? Why not weld them?

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Dan, the PB dropmember is designed to bolt up to the factory rails using a few original holes in them, so I went that route with the new rails. I may still go back and weld it all together!

Little bit of an update shouldn't be long and we will be driving it and redoing the body this fall. The wheels are just for rollers

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
yes, I worked for him as his aircraft mechanic for 16 years on his Falcon 2000 till he sold it.
Now I am looking for work in the same capacity as aircraft maintenance manager on either a Falcon 2000, 900, or 50. I could also go back to Gulfstreams, in that I have about 20 years experience on Gulfstreams. The GIV's and 450's and 550's are fantastic airplanes
