The 55 Gmc sure is a step up front end bling compared to a Chevy, kinda like a Caddy and a Chevy..

No I have no clearance issues I used a 1979 trans am rear axle so it is just a little narrower than the original 1/2 inch I believe but no issues

I have the TCI leaf kit in my 1950 3100. I am not on the road yet so I can't comment on the ride but I can tell you it installs really easy and is nice quality.

Hi Root2812, does the TCI kit move the axle back any to help center in the wheelwell?, i called TCI last week & the tech guy i spoke with could not remember if it does or not.
