No Limit Hood Tilt Kit

Anyone install one of their hood tilt kits, and care to share how the install went and performance? I have been looking at the Eddie Motorsports billet hinges, but now considering going a different way. Thanks for any feedback, Jim

Re: No Limit Hood Tilt Kit

currently i have a 57 with aftermarket stock replacement hinges. not gonna do that again, they are crap. the hood doesn't close the same on both sides and doesn't close the same twice in a row. billet may be the answer if going with the stock style of opening as they may have a bit more precision in their build. if going with a tilt front hood, where it opens backwards to stock and tilts downward over the front end, then I am not really up on trhat style, sorry. lots of guys are building their own versions though.

Re: No Limit Hood Tilt Kit

Thanks for all the info/feedback. Thinking I'll just stay with some billet hood springs.

Re: No Limit Hood Tilt Kit

I have the No Limit kit and it works fine. I also found that the repro hinges are garbage which led me to the No Limit kit.. My hood fits perfectly flat and I have not had any issues. My only complaint is that you have to use a prop rod to hold the hood open. I modified mine so I can put the rod on either the passenger side or drivers side.

Re: No Limit Hood Tilt Kit

I installed the billet hinges - I don't remember her if they were the Eddie Motorsport ones or not - but they work fine. Have had them about 7 years now.
