Rally wheel w/ 5.5 or 6 drop in front

Wondering if anyone is running (or can confirm running) the factory rallys on a static drop 73-87 truck with 5.5 or 6 drop in front.

I am sure I will have to trim the control arms that is fine.

I have the original rallys off the truck so I assume they are 15x8's.

The truck currently has 255/50/17s (27" diameter) on the front and looks good with no rubbing issue. I was thinking of running a 255/60/15 to keep the same overall diameter.

Any help, info or pics appreciated.

Re: Rally wheel w/ 5.5 or 6 drop in front

I ran 245/60 on the front of mine with the 6" drop and 8.5" slots. Not sure of the backspace, but the tire height worked out great. I had a bit of rubbing at full lock, but it wasn't major. The control arms were trimmed as well.

Im running a 5in drop with a 6.5in van rally with 215/70/15 tire, 4.25in bs wich is the same as the 15x8 rally. I did have to grind slightly on the lower leading edge of the lower control arms where the rim was making contact at full lock to lock.
