Finishing paint question!
ok i plan to go to my first show next weekend but i need to fill in some chips in the paint. also i know after painting you need to wetsand and buff. we had to respray the front due to a run in the paint that got sanded to far down. now ther is a seem and a little bit of orange peel from the over spray somehow. my friend was suposed to show me how to and help buff and clean up the paint. i have the paint, along w/ a can marked 50% activator and another can marked 30% hardener. how to i mix there to fill in the chips in the paint?
also i know that i need to wet sand the paint and buff it to get the glossy finish but what grit paper 1500? then how do i buff i dotn use polish and rag do i? What kind of compound to do i need. I need to get this doen this week so i will be able to go to my 1st show and its a big one too so i realy dotn wanna miss it and my g/f grandparents club promotes the show, so really i cant miss it! Any help would be greatly appreciated
