I picked up the 70 C-20 yesterday
-
I went over and drained all of the old gas out of it (12 gallons worth) on Tuesday, put fresh gas in it and got it started. I drove it around the farmyard a few times and it didn't seem to run too bad and the brakes worked good. I figured no problem, this thing will make it to my place (about 15 miles). I had a friend of mine take me over to get it and follow me home. I put some Seafoam in the tank, some in the oil and poured some in the carb after it had warmed up a bit and hit the road…. I had a little trouble making it up a couple of steeper hills but that thing didn't let me down. It definitely needs a tune up but that isn't a big problem. Glad to have it home. Glad to hear you were able to pick it up and that you made it home in one piece. It looks like you will have enough to keep you busy this winter.
I think you need a family picture... all the cars, trucks, and whatever else you might be hiding in one shot. You might have to expand the angle of the camera though... can anyone say Panoramic shot!

Thanks guys. Not everyone has the outlook on life that I do. I worked hard for what I have and I am at a point in my life that I don't want to see how much money I can save, I want to see how much money I can spend.... Seriously though, I see it as an investment just the same as any other investment except that I can enjoy them while they appreciate in value. It also lets me do what I enjoy most, working on old cars and trucks...  LockDoc
