Re: Topeka car show....neat pic

Chrome vinyl wrap is becoming popular nowadays so I'm guessing wrap.

Impressive if its true polish.

That must be the proud owner sitting behind the car. Either that or he REALLY loves seeing his reflection in the cars finish.

That is an aluminum body that has been polished and stripe is a chemical etch. I'll look for the link. If I remember correctly, they wanted about 25K just for the body and maybe chassis. Expensive but beautiful.

That aint no wrap!

The car is hand built by Kirkham motorsports out of Poland, truly works of arts.

Here's a 40 Ford coupe they built. They also build the Cobras out of copper if you so desire

Wow! That is truly an awesome piece of machinery!

Nothing like real metal polished to a mirror finish!

Sure beats the wrap stuff, Think they're getting a little carried away with the whole thing IMO...

Re: Topeka car show....neat pic

There is a paint process that achieves the same effect. They did it to an Audi on west coast customs for the new "Tron" movie. I believe it is the same process for making mirrors.
