If your thinkin Power Windows think A-1

I just finished installing the Power Window Kit my wife and kids got me from A-1 for father’s day. I have to say if you’re thinking about power windows in your truck you need to check out A-1. It was one of the easiest installs I've done in a while and with their wiring kit and switches it was a breeze to do AND they work GREAT

Thank You A-1

I have used A1 Electric for my power lock kit and my wifes, and it was good stuff.

Re: If your thinkin Power Windows think A-1

Got any pics of the install and finish product?

I'd be interested to see your door panels. Did you mount the up/down switches in the panels? Customize them? or did you mount them in a console or some other place?

Trying to learn as much about these old trucks as possible.

Man I think I'm getting hooked on it.

Haven't turned the first wrench on it yet, but I did replace the w/s wipers.

Agreed!! One of the easier mods to do and they are truly a bolt on product. (Now running the power wire is a little tricky but not bad either)...

Re: If your thinkin Power Windows think A-1

Yup, I got the post style power window switches. I brought them at a show, but do a search on here and there sould be a thread with the link...

NOTE, I kept the switches in the stock location and it was a big pain in the butt to get them bolted in and wired up in conjuction with the A1 power windows, just to give you a warning. It can be done, but it took me about 1 hour extra just to mount them and then try to reach in and hook up the wiring...

I'm with the rest of these guys, I was leaning towards the A-1 kit anyway, but I' think I'm sold now.

Re: If your thinkin Power Windows think A-1

I used the LMC power window kit and I'm not nearly as pleased with the result as you guys.

Re: If your thinkin Power Windows think A-1

Pics of the switchs. Sorry I cant find the install Pics. I think the hardest part was getting the old regulators out. After that it was simple. I wish I had paid more attition to my switch mounting as there not exaclly even.
