12 bolt truck carrier and gear interchange?
Will a 12 bolt truck carrier and gear set out of a 78 c10 chevy truck bolt into any 12 bolt truck housing from 65-82?
I was looking around, and it seems that it's easier to find rears out of the 73-82 era. Thanks! |

that's what I understand, but i decided to buy an new eaton posi and move to 308 gears. best move i've made so far on the truck. just checked mileage and got 14 mpg!!! not bad for a beefed up 350 vortec r motor and th350.

Jim, I have a 12 bolt with open 3.73's i'll sell ya. Only 20 minutes away too!
