Where do the "4 WHEEL DRIVE" emblems go?

I can't seem to find them in the manuals or pics. Exactly where were the "4 wheel drive" emblems placed and on which year/model trucks?
Thanks

They go where the engine ident. badges go. My '68 & '70 had them like that. My '71 Cheyenne has the engine ident. badges instead, I guess because it's a Cheyenne.

Re: Where do the "4 WHEEL DRIVE" emblems go?

4 Wheel Drive emblems weren't used after 70 on Chevys.I've seen 68s with them but no 67s so 68-70...GMC's may be different. They went where the Engine Size emblems usually go.They moved under the Custom/ or C/ emblems.
Here's a pic of one on my fenders off a 69 4wd.They go under the sidemarker. This is where they went (On trucks atleast)

Re: Where do the "4 WHEEL DRIVE" emblems go?

They go in the exact same holes as the 71/72 engine badge.

Think about it...
67/68:No engine badge/some (late?)`68 4wds have 4 wheel drive under marker
69/70:Engine badge under fender badge/4 wheel drive under marker
71/72:Engine badge under marker/Custom or Super in engine badge hole under fender badge/no 4 wheel drive

I always figured they moved the motor badge to the front because of the CustomDeluxe and Cheyenne Super models needing those holes. And,that`s when they dropped the 4wd promo...no place for it.I figure the 4 wheel drive badge had alot to do with the Blazer being introduced and to draw attention to the wide range being offered.
