leaf spring help
i have a 70 GMC LWB with leaf springs. i picked up 3 1/2" lowering kit for the front with disc brakes. now i need to lower the rear to match. i dont want to spend a whole lot of money, so what are my options? its either a coil swap or just get lower springs. has anyone done either one of these?

Re: leaf spring help
Sorry to hop in on your question, but forever71 were those from Early Classic Enterprises, and did it go fairly smooth and also got any pics?

Re: leaf spring help
DJM Suspension makes a rear axle flip kit so the axle sits on top on the leafs. Drops it 5in and can be found on stylintrucks.com for like $175 iirc.

Scroll down to post 309. Rokcrln did his own flip kit, but you can see how it is done. I do not see a notch, but read further and see.
