69-70 question

Wife and I attended a car auction a couple of weeks ago. When we walked in this 69-70 was on the block. They touted it as a florida truck with factory air.Now I've never seen factory air like this before. Was it a dealer add on or were these folks trying to pull a fast one?
BTW it went up to 12k cdn but didn't reach the reserve.

Re: 69-70 question

More like dealer installed.. My 68 burb had an abortion of a AC system installed, and it had that same giant under dash system your pic shows.
So, eh vintage yes... Factory? no.
BTW... The frigin thing would never stay cool.

Re: 69-70 question

being that the knobs match the knobs on the headlights/wipers and stock radio, I lean towards being dealer

Re: 69-70 question

Thanks guys.I'd never seen one like that before and I thought "b.s." until I saw the GM emblem embossed on the housing. In the pic it's that blurry silver square under the glove box door. Then I thought I'd ask here.
