newbie needs help!

hey i am a newbie here! and i need your help. i am doing a frame off on my 66 chevy and i cant get any of the bolts for the rear u bolts and spring bolts loose. i have tried penatrating oil, impact wrench, breaker bar and took the torch to it and no luck. anyone have any tricks that i might try? thanks for any advice.

use the torch to cut them, if they are that rusted you dont want to save them anyway.

Best bet it to just cut them off. I had to do that to a bunch of rusted bolts on my truck.

yea, on my parts 62 every nut, bolt, and stud was rusted. the good ole grinder helped me alot!! lol but whats weird is my 66 nothings rusted on. so idk

Yep, I tried soaking mine in Kroil, WD-40, and nothing helped....
finally just used the die grinder and cut them off......5 minutes and your done!!!!!

i can cut the u bolts no probelm there but what about the bolts for the rear springs. if i cut them off then i have to buy new trail arms??? i dont want theat expense. any thoughts?? tha nk for you help

Cut'm Just went thru the same thing
U-bolts are not that expensive.Save the agravation and busted knuckels
