I'm picking up a Blazer to replace my LWB, and the blazer has tbi.

i'm wondering if i can just run a normal regulator, since the stock pump puts out 15? ish psi, or do i need to run it with the return line? what is the best thing to do, for those who have done the swap?

Are you switching from TBI to carb? If so, why? The TBI pump is low pressure ~13-15 psi. You will need a regulator to keep it @ 7psi for a carb. application. Good luck.

i have a vortec headed 350 i want to put into it, with a carb already.. and i don't want get a new intake for a the tbi to fit.. seems easier to me.

let me refrase my question.. i'm wondering if the pump will burn up if i don't have the return line hooked up.. or do i need to run a bypass style reg.?

They sell an adapter to put a TBI on a carbed manifold for pretty cheap if you are interested. You wont need a return line if you use a regulator set for 7 psi.

This is a common swap. You want a return style regulator its not needed but but will let the electric pump live alot longer. $60 now for the regulator or $80.00 for a new pump and $60.00 more for the regualtor you should have used in the first place. 12803BP is the holley number for the correct regulator. They sell cheap brand units just make sure there similiar in specs.
