Tail Light Trouble(plus pics of truck!)
So I bought a new wiring harness from Painless. Love it but one problem I can't solve ( which kills me because I build powerlines for a living). My brake lights work, turn signals work, But with my brakes on and I turn on the left turn signal, the right brake light turns off. Works okay with the right turn signal, just the not the left. IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY. I keep thinking it's something in the turn signal switch killing power to the brake light. I don't know. Hopefully someone has endured this horror and can shed some light. Now for your viewing pleasure... Plus I just installed the LMC 3 point seat belts and they are very slick. Pics of those later. And I painted the truck myself. First time painting anything.

sweet ride, very god job on the paint. your right on the wiring problem, from the brake switch wiring will run through the turn signal switch, I would say thats where the problem is. I wish i could give you more information right now but i can't.

thats the only place this issue can come from, the turn signal switch.
SOMEONE will say check your grounds, but it'll just kill a couple hrs of your life and you'll still need a turn signal switch. |

That paint looks FANTASTIC.. It is like a mirror finish. And in black...I am very impressed.
