Power steering mock up on 250 Sic

I found a complete power steering set for my 250 including pump and brackets, alt pulley and brackets, water pump pulley and bolt on balancer pulley and the belts. have a couple questions.....number one, what water pump would have come on the 250s, long or short? Number two, was there a standard balancer that the power steering required? I have two balancers, the wide spaced one and a narrow one. I also have the pulley that bolts to the balancer. I was hoping there was a correct balancer for power steering so I don't have to go on and off with the balancer in trial and error.
