helper bags?

I recently acquired a 70 gmc c1500 longbed (with a 68 hood) with what I was told a 3/5 drop. I like the ride height but occasionally I do need to tow my boat or a car.

I am looking for a hitch and was thinking of adding air helper bags as it has rear coils. Any recommended setups?

Nice truck! I tried the helper bags and was not satisfied with them My truck is lowered as well. I also occasionally pull a trailer so what I did was add air shocks. They work great. I leave them at 20psi unless I am hauling a heavy weight or am towing the trailer.

I put helper bas on my lowered 2014. I filled the entire shortbed with sand for a job. Handled it like a champ. It a leaf spring setup though so a bit different. I would bag it if it had trailing arms.

It is funny I am actually not a flat black man. I am just cheap and that's how they came. Would really like to repaint them but getting through all the mechanical first.
