no turn signals?

ok i was driving when my truck didnt want to go. so i stoped and chekd under the hood. it seemd the my wire going to the positive post had come loose and came off. so i put the wire back on and and now my turnsignals wont work at all, my light turn on but no turn signals? why?
and now my tack light stays on idk whats going on. can someone tell me?

!. Check to see if you are getting power to the turn signals. I'd use a test light to check to see that you are getting power to the flasher. Remember that the ignition switch has to be on for the turn signals to work.

Make sure that the 4 way flasher button is in the off position as that will also cause the turn signals to not work. Especially if the Hazzard lite fuse is burned out or missing or the hazard flasher is bad or missing so that the hazard (4 way) flashers don't work either.
