67 K10 suspension lift question

What is different about the 67/68 4wd front axle & springs when compared to a 69-72 4wd. I want to remove the rough riding make-shift lift that is on my 67 K10 truck, but most places don't carry a lift for the 67/68. One place said the spring mounts were in different places and the springs were different lengths. I will probably add a 71 or so front axle to get the disc brakes and power steering. Any ideas or suggestions....PLEASE
