Re: Ralley Wheels
No the GM ralley wheels were not on GM trucks until after 75 or so. But I think they look right at home on the earlier trucks.

Re: Ralley Wheels
Regular old steel wheels with hubcaps was the only option back then.
Either had full hubcaps or dog dish hubcaps.

Re: Ralley Wheels
Here in BC I pay $1200-$1600 a year for insurance, but, we have somthing known as collecter insurance. If the vehicle is 25 years , or older and in very good original condition, it qualifies for this. Then insurance is about $300 for the year. I am going to get a set of my ralley's powder coated, and would realy hate to have to hide them with hub caps. I am going to try it with a 2' lift 33's and ralley's.

Re: Ralley Wheels
what about the other ralleyes, like could be found on the camaros and 'vettes? they are a bit different IIR, with different versions of center caps.

Re: Ralley Wheels
Hey Pumpkin and all-
Wow, that is just wrong that they consider putting on a later model factory wheel an excuse to throw you into the high dollar insurance bracket. Of course that kind of thing is what they do best, and they get lawmakers to design laws for their profit. A seat belt law is for insurance companies to refuse claims, not nesassarily for public safety. Here in SD, there is no motorcycle helmet law but you have to have belts on in your vehicle. Go figure! By the way, I was wearin my seat belts long before it was a law! In Canada I suppose its a different situation, but I got to blow off some steam about insurance companies! Later---DAC

Re: Ralley Wheels
I love how this thread turned into a "let me show you how sweet ralleys look on my truck" I say rallyes were ment for the 67-72 truck even if they aren't a factory option!
