Broken Water Neck on my 250.. Can't find part! :(

I can't find the Water outlet/Flange/Filler Neck.... Which ever it's called on my straight 6! It's the part that the Temp Gauge sensor goes into, I was replacing the sensor and over tighten like a dummy, I was tourqing it down to 25 lbs and it flange cracked at 20 ..... Anyways I can't find the part on eBay, or on any of the after market websites... I looked for motor on Craig's light in my Palm Springs area and no one has it..... Does anyone on this forum know where I can find the part? Or is there a bypass part alternative that I could use? The thermostat housing keeps popping up online and that's not what I'm looking for, I don't think anyone remakes it :/ thanks for reading and helping in advance

sometimes when you do not know what it is, perhaps one should post a picture.
they are not called sensors but sending units at that place in time. some had the sending unit mounted in the side of the head.. is yours mounted in that neck piece between the front of the cylinder head and the piece where the rad hose fits(top of the thermostat housing). the thermostat actually sits down in the piece that you screwed up?

that is the heater hose outlet you are looking at. if you look a little closer you will see the temp sender on the other side
