1967 C10 Parasitic draw

I have been chasing a parasitic draw on my1967 C10 project truck and hoping the forum may have some ideas to chase. The battery drains over a few days and requires recharging. I did review prior posts on this issue, which helped me get to my current state.

Here is what I have checked so far. Reading between negative post and cable is 1.20 amps. If I disconnect the red hot wire from the battery to the inside fuse box, then the amp drain is eliminated. As a result, I started looking for short circuits inside the cab. I removed each of the fuses to try and identify the problem circuit with no change in AMP reading. I unplugged the headlight, and wiper switches with no impact as well as the brake switch.

Appreciate any thoughts on how I can chase down this issue.

Do you have another Battery?

Sometimes a Bad Battery causes this issue.

The Battery may not be your issue but it is something to consider.

Another member had a Draw and it was the Battery.

Electrical problems can cause Headache's

So, something as simple as trying an
Extra Battery may eliminate some issues.

Just a thought, check the bulb in the dome light. I have heard of the bulb being blown out and still drawing amps.

Thanks guys, appreciate the suggestions. I believe I stumbled upon the fix. I noticed this morning my aftermarket clock guage was making a clicking sound while doing the drawdown test. Pulled out the guage cluster and the ground wire was not fully seated in the cluster. I tightened back down and now the drawdown is .08 amps, which seems reasonable I need to reassemble and attach the light and wiper switches, but hopefully this is resolved. On to the next item.
