whats the height of your seat

My 71 seat seems to have way too much padding, it measures 14" from floor to top base. Seat was recovered at some point and I want to buy a original style cover and dont want to sit so high.

What does your stock seat measure?

Re: whats the height of your seat

wow that looks thick. I'll have to measure mine and let you know.

I'm having some issues with mine being too tall even though it looks stock. My heads almost to the roof and my legs are in the steering wheel, I'm not exactly tiny though lol.

I'm considering shortening the brackets, if thats possible or having the seat foam shaved.

Re: whats the height of your seat

From what I remember in pas discussions on the board, there are two thicknesses for the seat cushions. The thicker version was a comfort option.
