Looks like i may have to call it quits

Well ... long story short. I am going to have to sell all my stuff for the 5.3 swap. My financial situation just changed for the worse so it looks like i will have to sell everything i have for the swap.

Ugghh .... just isnt fair ..lol

Yea .. it happens to the best of us.

Good news is i am keeping the truck.

I'll get the swap done ..... i'll just have to start over when the time is right.

Well if all works out in the next year i will do the LS1 ..... hopefully someone is interested in my 5.3L to help me out till then.

I would love to help you out, but I am in the same situation as you, I plan on doing a swap in the future but finances aren't allowing it right now.

I would love to do the swap as well, but there is no way I could afford to do so! My 5,500 pound Z71 has the 5.3 and that thing will get up and go in stock form! I can only imagine what it would do in a 3,700 pound truck!

At lest you're keeping the truck!
