Wood bed ?

Have any of you guys bought wood from a hardware store and replaced your wood bed floor.
could this be done and made to look good? I'm not talking about someone with a full wood shop. Just common tools. I'm also not talking about sheets of plywood.
Something that looks nice.
Is there any place that I could get a template or something that I could take to someone who is fairly good with wood working (not pro) and have them make wood planks that could just bolt in? My wood is totally gone so I can't use that as a guide, and I know not all of the wood is the same size.

Re: Wood bed ?

All you need is basic tools. Skillsaw, drill, router, belt sander, & pad sander.
It can be done. Get a template for the wood and go from there.
