another question about epoxy primer.

this has prabably been covered somewhere but i have no clue. ok i bought some nason ful-poxy primer made by dupont recently and today i shot it on the sides of my bed..my question is that it seems real shiny. i always thought that primer was dull but ive never used epoxy before. i like it being shiny because i can see all my little dings and dents but i dont want there to be an adhesion problem. thank guy for any help
