Jimmy/Blazer top sag?

Is this what people are talking about when they say Jimmy/Blazer tops sag? This is the first time I've taken the top off since I've had the truck and noticed this huge crack. I never noticed it sagging or cracked while it was on the truck...

edit: the bottom pic shows the huge gap with silicon that the previous owner had squeezed in it and the top pic shows it after I had pulled most of the silicon off.
