Starting over again

about a year ago I sold my 69 Gmc and really regretted it. Started searching for another 67-72. Everything I found was rusted out or outta my price range so I expanded my search to 67-87. Also plenty of 80-87 longbeds around for parts and it was easier to find one with ac, power brakes etc. Traveled every looking at trucks. One truck soon as the owner pulled up truck wouldnt start n oil was everywhere. Another truck owner couldnt produce a title. Finally found a truck 1 hr from home. 1985 swb with a 305/350 combo . Interior was in ok shape. Ac needs charging.

Welcome to the red headed step child of trucks owners support group

At least you found a short bed so you don't have to go through all the work of making your own out of a long bed.

Re: Starting over again

Welcome to the group. It wont be long and these will be just as popular as the 67-72 trucks. And if Hills Hot Rods keeps building sick square bodies maybe more popular.
