Windshield Decals!!!

I was talkin to josh tongiht and was thinknig of getting a windshield decal made for my truck. Didnt kno wat color or design or anything, so i decided to ask yall. Is anyone intrested in getting windshield decals for your trucks to promote the site, and just to add something that looks good to the truck. Right now we'll jsut througyh some designs around and make a poll on wat we want our official decal to be. Mind u this decal is for the 73-87 board. And I would like to have the sites address in there somewhere as well. We would just do the sites address in one big decal but...our yr trucks arent 62-72. So....make some designs post them up. And we'll get rollin on this. Also...I'd like a show of hands to anyone thats intrested in ordering them. Jsut to see a rough amount of people you actually want one. I am gunna call a few places in town and see wat they charge for the decals, shouldnt be to bad. So...just for right now...get some designs ready. And we'll go from there!!

that would be awesome i would take one... the only thing is incoporating the site address.. it we are staying 73-87 true... now if josh would register every body style.. (ex. 60-66chevytrucks.com or 73-87chevytrucks.com..47-55chevytrucks.com) and have them all linked to the same boards. that would work... but i am up for it. Maybe something with 73-87 Chevy Truck Message Board... with site address below in smaller letters. registering the web addresses would be the best way but obviously not cost efficient. But it might bring in more traffic as it would make the site easier to come across....

If have http://www.73-87chevytrucks.com put up a redirect file in /vboard that redirects to this specific forum, the transition could be done so smoothly that it would be like the forum was actually on 78-87chevytrucks.com

I'd sport a 73-87 decal on my truck to help support the site...

Here is a page on my site that has a bunch of 73-87 toons & renderings...maybe someone here can use these and modify them into a cool design/logo.

Also, we could contact Rob "the toonman" and see if he can throw something together.

You can also link to my site if you want it to point diretly to the 73-87 side.

ok.. a lowered/bagged shortbed with nice wheels and paint.. on one end... and a big bad 4x4 at the other end.. (have to show that the site caters to both crowds.) then 73-87.com between the 2 trucks. would work well since the 2nd thing on the main page of 73-87.com is a link to this site.

I'd be in for a small decal, not the windshield sticker. Kinda like the ones boilerman (I think) made but a decal not a static kind like we had.

...or someone can pm ZUMO(a board member) and ask him to possibly design something. He does some cool graphics.

I'd put a small one possibly on my back window, but I don't think that I would place any on the windsheild.

Hey 81, I really like that design alot. Its simple and would be pretty cheap. Go ahead and talk to your sign man rolson. Ask him wat I might cost to get some banners made. Also, if you want other options, we can make them be for the back windsheild, Front windshield, something that can go in the corners on your windows. Depends on if yall want it simple or pretty "custom" persay. I'd like to see a 73-87 truck in there somewhere But as far as baggs goes I liek that one alot. Any specific colors yall want? I tryed to get a hold of a dealer in odessa but I was runnig around all day dealing with some car lots around town. I will try to get to it tommorow.

Cool

Yes, put me in support of this board. My opinion is to make several different kinds of shapes for different places on our trucks. Not sure if I want a large print sticker across the upper windsheild, but maybe a smaller round one for the wing windows or rear glass. Just my opinion. David

i kind of like Jeff's idea a bit better. as was previously stated, people may think you're retarded if you're rollin a 73-87(-91) and it has a 67-72Chevytrucks.com sticker on it. if we could get ahold of the guy that runs www.73-87.com and have him put a nice big fat juicy link directly to this board, it would get the same effect, without someone who doesnt know whats up thinking we're retarded.

Lots of great ideas are comming up guys. I like them alot!! Sorry I have not been keepin up to date on this issuse like I should be. Got kinda ill, still am lol. I will try and call a store in odessa to see on pricing on making some foteh stickers. As far as the logo goes. Of course we cant have 67-72ChevyTrucjs.com as our banner. But the site link will be somewhere in the sticker. More along the lines of "73-87 Chevy Truck Forums" Visit us at 67-72 Chevy Trucks.com. Now as far as where u want them to go. thats up to yall, I personally like the way they loook on the windshield. But Iwill get prices on logos for the Winshield, Back Windshield, Corner Stickers (Small). I was only thinking of the windshield banner only b/c its going to be hard to see '73-87 Forums" At 67-72Chevy Trucks.com in a small sticker. So keep commin up with some n ew designs. Anything is welcome guys. I'd like to see someone put a 73-87 Grill on the sticker some how. But I will get back ot yall in a few alright! Have a great day everyone.

Jeremy, there is already a big, fat juicy link on the main page of the site...you must not be a regular.

Tyler, I am re-doing them a little...making them a bit smaller so they load quicker...stay tuned.
