bestop softtop

finnaly got all the parts to the old top, does anyone have a picture of front winshield frame mounting snap location. thats the only thing i could not get from bestop, thanks scott

Glad you got most of the parts. I've never seen a Bestop up close, but the Kayline tops have snaps screwed directly into the windshield frame.

According to the instructions that you can download from the bestop site there is a template that comes with the top.

i know they have a template, trying to get one is a different story. thats why i was i wondering if anyone had measurement or just a picture, i just dont know if it goes against the drip edge tight or on the flat or what. it has to make a difference on the totoal lenght of the top. just dont what unwanted holes.

There are a couple photos in my FAQ thread (now that I've fixed my broken image links) DOH!

There is one shot with the template in place and one angled shot of the installed snaps.

When I ordered my hardware from Bestop, I just asked for the template and they sent me one. That was just a few weeks ago, so I am sure they would do the same for you.
