removing bed with wood still in place ?
is it possible to remove the bed without removing the wood ?

It is with the steppers. Not sure about the fleetside. With the step bed you remove the four bolts with offset washers, unhook your wiring and presto! Lift it off.

Yes,
You remove the same bolts you would if it had a steel floor. |

If you mean remove the complete bed from the truck, then yes. Remove only the bolts that bolt the bed to the frame of the truck. It will come off in one piece.
