WTB '88 K5 Parts (Laundry List)

Tried to post in WTB but can't figure out how...

I purchased an '88 K5 (some parts may be K5 specific, not sure) and need the following parts if anybody can help me out here:

Dash bezel for right side of dash, brushed aluminum.

If anyone has a couple rusted out junk doors I need some lower cutouts to repair PO's speaker cutouts,

AM/FM Radio in good working condition.

At least the list is shrinking.

Thanks for looking, trukman1

I've got a pile of door shells here... do you every make a road trip to georgia?

How big of patches were you looking for? Trying to think of a safe, yet economical, shipping situation

Is it an AC truck or non/AC? If non/AC, I have both the cluster bezel and dash trim available NOS if interested.

If it's a/c with aluminum face plate I'm definitely interested! Actually, if it's in good shape I'm interested either way. Thanks.

PO cut speaker holes I wanted to patch. I need 9" tall x 14" long patch as measured from rear of door forward(14") and 9" measured up from bottom of door with the plastic piece that goes inside on both sides. I keep getting told to just cover it with the carpeted piece at the bottom but I think it would be quieter and less likely to get water damage on the carpet strip if I patch them.

Does this help?

Thanks for the response.

Re: WTB '88 K5 Parts (Laundry List)

I see your in Ohio, so am I. For your doors, there are a couple of local Facebook groups, that are just for our era of trucks. They have people that have doors listed, I'm sure that would be more feasible being in Ohio. And there are some local yards that have trucks. The pic n pulls in Cincinnati and one, just on the other side in Kentucky, called Bresslers. They have a few trucks with doors.

TKCR, Thanks for the heads up. The local LQK (our version of Pick n Pull) had a whole row and after I asked about them they got rid of them right afterwards. Go figure. Local yards are all empty as well. I'll try your suggestion. Thanks again, trukman1

This one is still there. I went down about a week ago and got the seat.

Re: WTB '88 K5 Parts (Laundry List)

TKCR,

Thanks.

They have a red C10 there. Is that the one you got the seat from? If so, did you notice if it was a A/C cab? Looks like gray so I thought I might scoot down and get the dash bezel (and possibly whole dash) if it's in good shape and A/C.

It was charcoal, but the dash was junk, or I would have taken it. I would assume it was A/C, I really didn't pay attention. But since it was a Silverado, most of them are A/C.
